Meet our founder
LaKisha “theeMD”
LaKisha’s early interest has been in technology which she discovered during her military career as an Operation’s Specialist in United States Navy. She performed and surveyed multiple Security Networks and Databases during several combat deployments. During her Naval career she has provided departmental (C-level) briefings to more than 800 Senior Military Officers and Commanders. Her strategic insights have often been referenced for specific and general evaluation of technology policies and procedures. LaKisha decided to leverage her skills by pursuing her education, earning a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, MSc in Information Systems Management and IT Project Management certification. Later, theeMD” then decided to further extend her service from country to community by helping people make better choices regarding Legal, Insurance, Financial responsibilities. Recovering from a few L.I.F.E challenges of her own, she decided to pivot establishing Major L.I.F.E Consulting as an extension of service to the community. Her motto “I proudly served the country, now we raise the standard by serving the community.” As a Licensed Financial Professional she offers personal or professional consultations.
